​2016 favourite story of 3D Printing Industry

In a year-end review, tech reporter Corey Clarke wrote that his favourite story of 2016 was that university researchers in Singapore managed to 3D print a drone with embedded electronics. The researchers at NTU used Stratasys’ 3D printers and the advanced ULTEM 9085 material in order to print the quadcopter. Phillip Keane was the man who produced the device as part of the Singapore Center for 3D Printing (SC3DP) at NTU.
